For the couple weeks we was working together with womens from the village Jeblog and artist from Yogyakarta. We all represents different backgrounds and lifestyle. Now is the moment when we want to present you effects of our workshops. SESAMA

"The opening will include performative activities with flags produced.
The international make-up of the project will help us diversify the symbolic and signifying content in reference to traditional patterns used in Indonesian batik making. Throughout the ages batik played a significant role in identification of particular social groups in Indonesia, but has since lost the role in favour of decorativeness, becoming a tourist souvenir. We will endeavour to understand its traditional function and we will employ the ancient technique for creating an intercultural dialogue."
